Agents Who Play Games With Other Agents Hurt Themselves In The End!

We just rented a home in Ocala, Florida. It was placed on the MLS, two weeks ago. The owner was ecstatic to have the home rented and signed the lease. Yesterday, he received a call from another agent who told him that he may have a buyer for the home!

Some agents have a habit of being sneaky! They are predators of sorts. Of course this agent didn't have a buyer, they were clearly attempting to get the listing by fabricating stories.
The mere fact that this person continues to do this has given them the distinction of being "Public Enemy #1" with a lot of Realtors in this area. Agents keep a list on the Good, Bad and Ugly" of our profession.

There are ways of doing things correctly. Going behind another agents back and dealing with their clients will cost you one day whether you believe it or not!

The Real Estate community is a small one. You're reputation is the most important thing that you as a professional have. Having a good name in the business goes very far when dealing with a fellow agent, a bad name in the industry will haunt you forever!

I can't tell you how many times reputation has assisted with closing a transaction. Agents want to deal with those they can trust. Back to the sneaky agent. I checked his "Active Sales and Closed Sales" there's no point in calling this person to explain "Right from Wrong" his track record in the business is less than stellar! I guess that's payback enough!
